Eye Twitching and Migraines
Eye twitching and migraine headaches can often occur together. Sometimes eye twitches
may precede the onset of migraine headaches or be a sign of an impending migraine.
Eyelid twitching accompanied by migraine headaches often occurs on one side of the head and can be associated
with a pulsating pain, sensitivity to sound and light, nausea, and even vomiting.
Women are much more likely to suffer from migraine headaches than men, as much as three times more likely,
mostly because migraines may be triggered by hormonal changes. However, many people get eyelid spasms and migraine
at the same time due to stress, tiredness, lack of sleep, caffeine, or vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
